Beginning May 1, 2026, unanswered applicant questions on SBA Forms 1919 and 1244 within ETRAN web screens have been resulting in error validations rather than warnings. Organizations that use third-party platforms for data transfer to ETRAN have already been informed regarding the timeline for the enforcement.

For applications submitted via the LX platform, these will be optional for applicants who are not borrowers.
